Historic Highway 56 Series
This cache is one in a series of caches along old hwy 56 between Calico Rock and Ash Flat. There will be several caches placed along this route at historical sites and landmarks.
Rest Area
This is a little rest area off of hwy 56. There is a plaque near the cache that reads "This land donated to the state of Arkansas for a roadside park by Arthur Byram."
It's a good spot to stop and stretch your legs.
