This cache is near the southern perimeter of a series of a dozen or so highrises built since the late 1990s and progressively expanded by one of Guanghzou's and China's largest developers.
It is generally well done, with good pedestrian permeability maintained throughout, in contrast to large gated perimeters in some other newer developments.
At the street level, which is where people experience the city, careful attention is paid in the design to the need for active and attractive streetfronts. In this location, though just facing the blank wall of a highrise, seating and shade has been installed along a pedestrian shortcut. The landscaping elements including a rusting shade structure with tree branches protruding through it (free hint) are a bit rusty in this location, and are little-used in this particular spot. There is only so much appeal to sitting facing a blank wall, apparently.
