Geocache Description:

GOING BATTY #58

Welcome to my new Bat caches.  When I lived in Missouri during the summer of 2003, I worked at Ozark Caverns within Lake of The Ozarks State Park. Ozark Caverns has remained mostly natural as there is no lighting installed in the caves, which makes it a great habitat for bats.  I learned quite a bit about bats and wanted to create a few bat puzzle caches: the "Bump In The Night" for Snag The Tag is the perfect time to do it too.

The cache is not at the posted coordinates.

Bat Fact #58

Silver-Haired Bat

Silver-haired bats (Lasionycteris noctvagans) are slow flyers, feeding near woodland ponds and streams, near the ground. They are usually solitary. They roost in tree cavities and behind loose bark.  They are found in Colorado.
