GOING BATTY #59
Â
Welcome to my new Bat caches. When I lived in Missouri during the summer of 2003, I worked at Ozark Caverns within Lake of The Ozarks State Park. Ozark Caverns has remained mostly natural as there is no lighting installed in the caves, which makes it a great habitat for bats. I learned quite a bit about bats and wanted to create a few bat puzzle caches: the "Bump In The Night" for Snag The Tag is the perfect time to do it too. Â

The cache is not at the posted coordinates.

Bat Fact #59
Â
Hoary Bat

Hoary bats (Lasiurus cinereus) forage in open areas but they eat different insects than the big brown bat. They might be seen, along with big brown bats, near street lamps or other outdoor lights. They are in Fort Collins from April to November. They migrate to warmer climates in the winter.
