SUNRISE CLIMB

The Sunrise loop is a great walking track in the Warbys and is a favorite for trail running due to the amount of elevation gained and the sometimes challenging terrain underfoot.

To reach this cache you must ascend to the highest point of the Sunrise Track. Depending on your fitness level this can be an easy climb or a challenging one. Either way, it's a few kilometers from the car park to the top so come prepared for that. Once at GZ it should be an easy find. Please take some time to enjoy the area. It is best in Spring when the wildflowers are out and the grasses are green.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Phytophthora cinnamomi, also known as cinnamon fungus, is a serious plant disease that destroys many native plants. It is present in the Warby Range section of the park. To help prevent the spread of the disease, avoid walking and driving in wet areas. Clean camping gear and boots (recommended cleaner: 1 part bleach, 3 part water) before leaving the site.
