THE SECRET NOTE
University Professor of Linguistics Brendan Tridon was so lost in deep contemplation that frowns of concern and doubt were creasing his forehead. He was trying to determine what to do with the piece of paper that was laid out on his kitchen table in front of him.
It all started when his good friend, the internationally renowned DNA researcher, Dr. Knight, suddenly disappeared.
Although the police were trying to leave no stone unturned in their search for the missing Dr. there was something that they weren't aware of yet. Brendan had purchased a small studio apartment in Wanagaratta many years ago as a place to go when life got to be a bit too much. He had given a spare set of keys to his friend for him to use it as a getaway as well. Brendan went to the apartment wondering if he’d find any clues to his friends disappearance. He knew that the Dr. did research into lost treasures as a hobby and hoped to find something he'd been working on.
Brendan was almost through searching the apartment, having found nothing, he sat down at the small writing desk and began going through the drawers. Under the draw on the bottom of the desk was hidden a small folded piece of paper.
He pulled it out to look at it but there was nothing written on it. Brendan thought that was very odd. Why hide blank paper? While pondering this and holding the paper up to the light he noticed faint marks like water marks on the paper. Studying it closely he could lightly make out what was hidden on the paper.

Brendan goes outside to the fence and thinks "how do I decipher this code, recover the lost treasure and hopefully save my friend?". "I'm going to have to find some crypto lab to help me unjumble this note before I can think about doing anything with it......."
