IT'S CITO TIME AGAIN!

Please come and join us for our semi-annual clean up of the area along Mill Creek on the grounds of the Parkinson Recreation Center.

When: Saturday October 23rd

Time: 10:00am - 11:30am

Where: At the coordinates listed above, which is in the parking lot of the Parkinson Rec Center, located at 1800 Parkinson Way

The Kelowna Geocachers have been participating in the Kelowna Adopt-A-Stream program for a number of years now, and we try to meet at this location twice a year for a fall and a spring clean up of Mill Creek. There has been an 18 month hiatus due to the pandemic, but we now have the go-ahead to resume clean-up events, as per city and provincial guidelines.

The City of Kelowna will provide us with garbage pickers, safety vests, and garbage bags. There may also be gloves available, but please bring your own if you prefer. Hand sanitizer will also be readily available; please use it before and after handling any cleanup equipment.

You will have to sign an informed consent form before the event starts, as per City of Kelowna guidelines.

This event will follow all B.C. Covid-19 guidelines; please remember to social distance and act respectfully.
