The Erie Attica Trail lies in the Village of Avon along the former railroad for which it's named. A glimpse of this past can be seen in the beautiful truss bridge that spans 220 feet across the Genesee River. The wooded rail-trail begins on the west end of Avon and continues west just over a mile to the Genessee Valley Greenway. Cache was placed with permission of the Village board and Mayor Tom Freeman. No Room for tradeables and make sure to bring a pen.
A "20 years of Geocaching" trackable for the FTF to set out in the geoworld
If you feel like you have been here before you may have...Eyeash had a cache here just a few feet away but no projections here. You are looking for a flat bison tube type container, just a few feet from the gravel path, NO need to go down the embankment.
