The Erie Attica Trail lies in the Village of Avon along the former railroad for which it's named. A glimpse of this past can be seen in the beautiful truss bridge that spans 220 feet across the Genesee River. The wooded rail-trail begins on the west end of Avon and continues west just over a mile to the Genessee Valley Greenway. Cache was placed with permission of the Village board and Mayor Tom Freeman.
If you feel like you have been here before you may have...ElbaPatch had a cache here 10 yards away or so. You are looking for a bison tube HIDING within a unique host. NO need to go down the embankment. Just east of GZ is the remains of another bridge.
