[DE] Zwischen Telfs und Imst liegt die kleine Gemeinde Rietz mit ihren ca. 2.300 Einwohnern Das Gemeindegebiet reicht vom Talboden am Inn bis zum Rietzer Grießkogel, einem 2.884 m hohen Berg in den Stubaier Alpen 1264 wurde das Dorf erstmals urkundlich erwannt.
