Hallo und willkommen im schönen Wald in der Nähe der Wallfahrtskapelle St. Sebastian bei Haisterkirch (Bad Waldsee).
Die Kaplle ist ein einschiffiges Bauwerk, welches im 15. Jahrhundert errichtet wurde und 1892 neu erbaut werden musste. Die Kapelle ist im Landkreis Ravensburg mit 758 m ü. NN die höchstegelegene Kapelle.
Die Glocke der Kapelle wird noch manuell geläutet. An der Nordseite des Bauwerks befindet sich eine an die Kapelle angebaute Sakristei. In den Fenstern ist eine Bleiverglasung ohne Glasmalereien. Das zentrale Deckengemälde stammt von Gebhard Fugel. Hinter dem Altargitter befinden sich ein neo-klassizistischer Altar mit einer Sebastiansfigur und eine Kniebank. [Quelle: Wikipedia]
Hello and welcome to the beautiful forest near the St. Sebastian pilgrimage chapel near Haisterkirch (Bad Waldsee).
The chapel is a single-nave structure, which was built in the 15th century and had to be rebuilt in 1892. The chapel is in the Ravensburg district at 758 m above sea level the highest known chapel.
The chapel bell is still rung manually. On the north side of the building there is a sacristy attached to the chapel. In the windows there is lead glazing without glass paintings. The central ceiling painting is by Gebhard Fugel. Behind the altar there is a neo-classical altar with a figure of Sebastian and a knee bench. [Source: Wikipedia]
