This is NOT a simple CITO. I came across this trashed area after my other recent CITO. I was finding an archived cache that was still in place, and saw how much trash was here. I thought about trying to gather some trash, but I had nothing to hold it in. I also thought about waiting for the next CITO season, but I hated the thought of this trash just getting further buried by snow. And trash around water makes me cringe more than trash in other areas.
With this CITO you may get your feet wet. The terrain is not easy to cross. The trash may require some maneuvering to retrieve. And then there's no trash can right there. So it will have to be carried out along the trail. Nothing large per se - just plastic and metal bottles, plastic bags, etc.
Please note the waypoints. There is closer neighborhood parking, but that will fill up with just a car or two. The parking lot has much more parking options. And I've also noted where to exit the trail. There's a trampled path there.
