The Creek 100 Years Ago.....
100 years ago, the Dandenong Creek Trail, the formalized track along the creeks edge did not exist. Living back in the day, you could be on a narrow bush track along the creek-side, or beat your way through the thick ti-tree scrub, keenly avoiding snakes. You might be on a horse rather than a bike. Over time the bush was cleared to make way for orchads and farms. Today, much of the area has changed again, this time to residential homes.
