Soška kolesarska pot nas popelje mimo naravnih in kulturnih znamenitosti srednje Soške doline. Deloma poteka po regionalnih in lokalnih cestah. Pot začnemo v enem najlepših naravnih kotičkov na Tolminskem, na sotočju Soče in Tolminke in zaključujemo v Solkanu. Naš trail trenutno pokriva relacijo Solkan – Plave. V tem delu poti se peljemo po kolesarski stezi tik ob Soči, kjer lahko občudujemo Sveto Goro ter mojstrstvo graditeljev Bohinjske proge – kamnite galerije in Solkanski most.
Pot je zaželeno in smiselno opraviti v smeri Solkan – Plave (izhodišče je na parkirišču v Solkanu) in v eno smer traja približno 1h (z iskanjem 1.5h).
ENGLISH
The Soča cycling road takes us past the natural and cultural sights of the central Soča Valley. It partly runs on regional and local roads. We start the journey in one of the most beautiful natural corners in the Tolmin region, at the confluence of the Soča and Tolminka rivers and end in Solkan. Our trail currently covers the route Solkan - Plave. In this part of the route we ride along the bike path right next to the Soča, where we can admire Sveta Gora and the mastery of the builders of the Bohinj railway- the stone galleries and the Solkan bridge.
It is recommended to take the route in the direction of Solkan - Plave (the starting point is in the parking lot in Solkan) and it takes about 1 hour in one direction (with geocaching about 1.5 hours).
