This cache was included in a set of Happy Birthday caches placed for my sister-in-law, Mary Lucking, a genius creative and public artist. Her birthday is October 18th - and all the caches went live on that day in 2021! The caches are all located close-by or within public art she created. The inside of the metal tins are also decorated with imagery from another art project of hers - "Poems in Silver and Glass".
This cache is located in one of three weathering steel railings bridges she designed.
"The South Bridge, located in the more natural, shady point in the park features a wood deck and flared arcs of perforated steel, providing a softer-feeling bridge that melts into the landscape, opening up in the center, giving walkers a view of the natural-banked canal. A 30-foot topographic map of the park, canal and path playfully shows visitors the lay of the land."

The caches started out with trackables that had missions to go to some of Mary's favorite places!
This particular cache started with this one (which I hope will make it to The Grand Foyer at the Palais Garnier the place Mary's husband, Bill, proposed
)
Take me to Pari!
