Geocache Description:

The cache is located in a reserve at the end of Geoffrey Road. There is water on both sides of the point, Most of the reserve is surrounded by Tuggerah Lakes.

The area where the cache is located is heavily covered with Casuarina Trees and this is what the reserve is named after.

There are three radio broacast masts on the reserve, each one is about 78 Metres high with multiple support cables running to large concrete and metal supports in a number of locations. One of the towers (The one closest to the entry) is quite close to the area where the cache is located.

A walk to the end of the point is only 400 Metres and the almost 360 degree view is amazing..

The gps signal can be cut down by the heavy tree cover and this can be made worse by heavy overcast.
