Mt. Painter is always worth a visit, a short hike from Aranda and you get great views over Molonglo Valley and the hills surrounding the capital. (these days with some urban sprawl in the view)
Go find the cache, re-hide and then go the last little bit to seek the peak of Mt. Painter.
GZ is a nice spot to sit and enjoy.
P.S.: yes this is very near to the oldest, but it has other qualities too, certainly the closest to the peak.
