This is a small birdhouse cache hidden in Coffin Woods in Locust Valley, NY. There is a small log already in the birdhouse, but you have to provide your own pen. Post a message if any maintenance needs to be done on it, the owner lives close to the cache and can fix it quickly.
This cache is a tribut to a fellow geocacher, avabggg. I've known avabggg for a long time but we haven't become friends until the start of the 2021 summer. Avabggg was the one to introduce me to geocaching, and we spent the entire summer using this as our bonding experience. Geocaching with my friend have given me some of the greatest experiences I've ever received, and I'll never forget the memories we made hiking through thorns and finding giant inflatable pickles on our geocaching adventures. I can't wait to see what the future has in store of us. Thank you for introducing me to this exciting and amazingly fun activity, avabggg!
