📽 The 2021 Geocaching International Film Festival - GIFF - is the eighth incarnation of the competition, and again attending a GIFF event in November will secure you both an evening of cacher-made cache-centric entertainment, and a Geocaching souvenir! 📽

🎥 What is GIFF?: From 11th-21st November, geocaching events will be held worldwide at which the finalist films from the 2021 Geocaching International Film Festival will be shown publicly for the first time. The films are suitable for all ages. Geocachers who attend and log this event will receive a special Souvenir on their profile. See here for more details.
🎥 Where: Margaret Alexander Community, Alexandra Cres, Barry, Vale of Glamorgan, CF62 7HU
🎥 When: 6.30-8.30pm, Friday 12th November 2021.
The film showing will start at 7pm prompt due to the time restrictions on the hall and it lasts around an hour.
🎥 Who: Cachers from far and wide. New to cache meets or geocaching in general? You'll be made especially welcome. All films are family-friendly, so bring the kids too if you like. But no dogs allowed, sorry :(
🎬 In your Will Attend log, please include the number of people so I can track numbers, as I need to inform the hall's owners for insurance purposes 🎬
🎥 Note: there is a cost involved in hiring the hall so there will be a donations box for your contributions by the door. £2.50 per adult and £1 per child (6-15) is suggested. This is in line with Groundspeak guidelines, and any excess will be donated to the South Wales event.
Tea and coffee facilities are provided. As will cakes ;)
🎥 Note 2: Covid rules apply! If you have a cough or don't feel well, please do not attend! We have to try to keep everyone safe as possible!
🎥 Note 3: We have decided to hold a raffle on the night. Donations for the raffle are gratefully accepted. Please bring donations on the night.
