This is our first geocache and we have placed it in a small park local to us - Dunvant Park. As it is our first cache we didn't want to hedge our bets so it should be a quick park up, short walk and grab cache. It is a small container with swag. Thanks to RaynRuth for the advice - the cache is now in a camobag.
The park is mainly open space and has plenty of room for dogs to have a run around, a playground with zipwire etc and multi use games area - basketball and football for the kids. You can take a short walk from the park to the shops in Killay where there is a cafe and 2 bakeries.
Just to note the park is on an incline. There are a few entrances which you can easily park your car by. We would recommend Goetre Fach Road as the easiest for parking and it is a short walk to groundzero.
