Welcome to Yellow Gum Nature Reserve, a special place for nature.

The reserve is home to one of the last large populations of the endangered Bellarine Yellow Gum. These trees provide important food and habitat for parrots (including the Swift Parrot), lorikeets and cockatoos.
Surrounding the reserve is Yellow Gums estate which consists of architecturally designed homes on large blocks making this a great place for a walk for bird watchers and house watchers alike.
The area is notorious for mosquitos, so applying repellent before you arrive is highly recommended. It is also an ideal habitat for snakes and care must be taken in the warmer months.
