This cache is along a walking path which goes from Hendrefoilan Road in Killay to Cwmllwyd Wood in Waunarlwyd (this is as far as we have walked it!). The cache is not that far away from Hendrefolian Road - it is just past a viewpoint at the top of the hill where you will be able to see the sea views across Swansea from Swansea Bay over Gower and across to Loughor Estuary.
The waypoint will take you to Ffordd Dryden which is the best route to take to access the cache. You will be able to park your here car here and head to the kissing gate at the end of the cul de sac. At the other side of the kissing gate is Hendrefoilan Road, so take care to stop here, look and listen and cross the road here safely. You will be able to see the walking path straight ahead of the kissing gate.
The walking path takes you up a hill, the ground can be a little uneven with some stones for a section on the way up and back down. This is a bit of a hill walk but has been easily managed by our 3 and 8 year old.
You will reach the top of the hill and can enjoy the view between the 2 fences and usually see the cows in the field here.
The cache is roughly 33-35 normal steps further up the path from the 2 fences.
The cache is a small plastic lock lid container with some swag.
