The Penguin Pootle is a geo art series of 66 caches. Complete the puzzles to be rewarded with the coordinates for each cache which once all solved forms a circular walk. The whole walk if completed in one go is 20.20 kilometers or 12.5 miles and is waymarked by orange arrows. Please stick to the waymarked route particularly across the two golf courses. The town is well serviced by public transport and you are never too far from a bus stop if you wish to break the walk up into smaller sections. There are a variety of caches along the way from nanos to regular sized tubs including some novelty caches. Please ensure these are returned to their hiding spot in the state you found them for the enjoyment of those who follow you.
In June ABCD, an emperor penguin came ashore on New Zealand's Peka Peka Beach, nicknamed Happy Feet, after the film of the same name, it was suffering from heat exhaustion and had to undergo a number of operations to remove objects like driftwood and sand from its stomach.
