This cache has been reactivated in memory of Sir Vayor. The original cache was archived, and was located a few hundred metres east. I have moved it to it's current location for the view of Logan Lake. Please do NOT park on the highway. There is plenty of parking in the Logan Lake Campground.
Here is Sir Vayor's original description of the cache: "Logan Lake is in the centre of the best rainbow trout fishing in British Columbia. Other communities may think they have it all, but Logan Lake has them all beat, hands down; or is it “rod tips up”!
Logan Lake, itself, has some terrific fishing right from the wharves on either end of the lake, let alone on the water. There are many, many lakes all within a half hour of town. From Mamit Lake in the south to Tunkwa and Leighton Lakes in the north; from Bose Lake in the west and to McConnell Lake in the east, there are numerous other lakes in between. All of these are considered to be Logan Lake’s ‘home lakes’ and will provide you with plenty of fishing action where if you want, you can fish two lakes a day for the length of your stay."
