Let's have a get together to perform some grounds maintenance at the McDowell Cemetery. The cemetery sits between Pleasant Valley Blvd and McMahon Drive just off of 17th Street to the south , visible from 17th Street. We will be clearing fallen tree limbs, trimming grass and weeds around the fences, and gathering the litter and assorted debris. There will be power equipment, chainsaws, string trimmers, and lawnmowers, if you have PPE you may want to bring it.
Bags, snacks, water as well as fuel mix (50:1) for power tools will be supplied. We could use a string trimmer or two. Remember to bring gloves.
Parking may be tight, carpooling is suggested.
