As many of you are aware there was once a race of little people who roamed the hills and dales of the Escondido area. Many of them lived in what is now known as Kit Carson Park; in fact some of you may have seen the relics that were unearthed there. But these industrious little people were not the only lilliputian residents of the Hidden Valley. While many of the little people were over a foot tall they had cousins who seldom reached the height of 6 inches. As you can imagine being so very small was a problem, a dog or cat or even a squirrel could be a real danger. These wee people spent most of their lives in hiding because that was the only way they could remain safe. Upon occasion a small relic is found that lets us know that they really did exist, one of these relics was discovered about a year ago in the industrial area of Escondido and just a few days ago, much to the delight of the scientific community, multiple finds were unearthed in the northern part of our valley. Hurry out to share in this rare historical event.
