The Silverback Trail is a new trail situated in a system of horse trails in the Rockridge area of Maple Ridge. It is best to do this series of caches in numerical order, by walking the trail clockwise. You can make a nice loop of this hike by coming back down the Bear Claw Trail and then West towards Balsam Street and the parking area. Please note that mountain bikers frequent this trail (as they are the ones that built it) and they will be completing the trail counter-clockwise. There is parking at the end of Balsam Street: N49 14.960 W122 34.438
There are four caches in this series + a final cache. In caches one through four you will find the coordinates for the final cache location. One you have found all four of the caches you will then have the coordinates for the final.
This letterbox hybrid cache is NOT at the posted coordinates. In order to locate the cache you need to project a waypoint 490.36 meters at 17.72 degrees from the posted coordinates
As this is a letterbox hybrid the cache container contains a stamp. PLEASE DO NOT REMOVE THE STAMP FROM THE CONTAINER!!! You are looking for a lock n lock container.
