Geocache Description:

We have placed a short run of 12 caches along the Littlehampton & Rustington Seafront. You can start at either end and there are plenty of other caches around for you to continue your journey if you wish.

5- Longest Bench

The longest bench in Britain was opened to the public in Littlehampton, West Sussex on 30th July 2010. The bench can seat over 300 people and runs continuously from the seafront kiosks near to the River Arun, to the café, dipping, twisting and turning along the majority of Littlehampton's East Beach promenade. It is is a continuous structure stretching 324 metres along the promenade and is constructed of tropical hardwood slats reclaimed from coastal groynes and landfill.

This cache is placed at one end of the metal shelter which contains multiple turns and loops. Can be very busy in decent weather, so please use stealth.

Enjoy your search and please replace carefully to keep the cache well hidden. You may need tweezers to extract the log.
