Geocache Description:

Pumpkin Creek Cemetery is east of Coffeyville off of highway 166.  It is named for the stream, Pumpkin Creek, that runs north of the cemetery. Pumpkin Creek is part of the Verigris River. The cemetery is in Cherokee Township in Montgomery County.  It has around 55 graves.

The oldest grave I found on record is James A Vassar.  He was born 1845 and supposingly died in 1865, but the stone looks like 1875 to me.  So I'm not sure on that grave.  The next oldest is John A Loshbaugh.  He was born in 1826 and died 1870 at the age of 43 or 44.

You are looking for a camo bison/scuba tube.  Joseph and Mary are keeping an eye on it. (Joseph and Mary Ragan that is.)

Please be respectful and bring a pen.

Happy Hunting!!
