Inagi is famous for producing pears, and its origin dates back to around 1700. The local government officer went on a trip to Kyoto and brought back saplings. The tree grew very large and was in his house until 1902. The cache is in a small plum grove on the hill.
稲城は梨の産地として有名でその起源は1700年頃まで遡ります。当地の代官が京都に旅行に行き、淡雪（あわゆき）という品種の苗木を持ち帰ったのが始まりとされています。その原木は非常に大きく育ち、明治22年まで代官宅にあったそうです。キャッシュは丘の上の小さな梅林に設置しました。
