Breve ma suggestivo percorso che costeggia l'imponente antica muraglia. Costruita intorno al V secolo a.C. le mura che difendevano l'antica Caisra sono formate da grossi blocchi squadrati di tufo rosso, ancora ben conservate nonostante i crolli e gli interventi di demolizione antichi e moderni. Essa si erge per un’altezza di circa quattro/cinque metri per uno spessore di tre metri, appoggiate alla parete naturale di tufo appositamente predisposta. In particolare, in questo sito è possibile osservare l'antica "Porta Coperta" i cui resti costituiscono un unicum per la città antica, si tratta dell’unica porta di accesso ancora visibile nelle sue caratteristiche originarie, aperta nel circuito murario che cinge l’intera area urbana con un perimetro di circa 7 chilometri.

They are made by large red tuff squared blocks still well preserved despite the collapses and the ancient and modern demolition interventions. Their high reach about four/five meters and three meters thick, above the specially prepared natural tuff wall. In particular, in this site you can observe the the ancient "Porta Coperta" (Covered Door) whose remains are a unicum for the ancient town. It is the only gate still visible in its original shapes, open in the walls surrounding the urban area 7 kilometers.
