Continuing our accidental series of caches in, or near some of the parks and green spaces in West Bletchley, this is the Park.
This park is quite small and often overlooked as it only has a small entrance on Buckingham Road, and an even smaller one through a litle industrial park, nevertheless, once you are inside, it is a nice secluded area with space for the dogs to run and kids to play.
The park takes it's name from the nearby pub, just across the road, which in turn takes it's name from the bells in St. Mary's Church tower, just up Church Green Road. There is rumoured to be a secret tunnel from Bletchley Park to the aforementioned pub, built so some of the senior officials at the park (some even say Winston Churchill himself) could go to the pub unobserved. However, no evidence for this tunnel has been found and it is likely it was never actually built.
