Geocache Description:

Thousands of holiday greetings are sent each year to the Rudolph postmaster for a special Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer postmark.

Rudolph derives its name from Rudolph Twp, which in turn was named after Rudolph Hecox (I'll let you research that for yourself). The town was incorporated in 1960. The crossroads community is anchored by the Dairy State Cheese factory.

According to the Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 1.19 square miles (3.08 km2), all of it land.

TO FIND THE FINAL COORDS  to the container:  Use the village's number of square miles number WITHOUT the decimal. consider it a whole three-digit number. Use that number and SUBTRACT it from the North coords, and SUBTRACT if from the West coords.

The 2022 Cold Cache Crew theme is Town Names for Winter/Christmas Stories. These caches will only be available from January 1st thru March 31st. Be sure to get'em while ther ho--err--COLD!!
