CCC-Comet, OH Mystery Cache

Comet is an unincorporated community in Green Township, Summit County, Ohio, United States. The Comet Post Office was established on May 23, 1883, and discontinued on July 31, 1903. Mail service is now handled through the Clinton branch.
 

It is located at 40°55′21″N 81°31′32″W on the northwestern end of Comet Lake and wholly within the city of Green.


FOR FINAL COORDS to the container: For North coords, using the day the Comet post office was established, subtract that number from the last three digits of the north coords. For the West coords, using the day the Comet post office discontinued service, add that number to the last three digits to the West coords.
