Rudolph was laid out in 1881. It was named for H. Rudolph McCullough, a railroad official. A post office called Rudolph was established in 1883, and remained in operation until it was discontinued in 1908.
Rudolph is a city located in the county of Brown in the U.S. state of South Dakota and is located at 45°20'53"N 98°32'10"W (45.3480300, -98.5362100).
TO FIND FINAL COORDS to the container: Add all the digits in the years the post office was established and discontinued (8 digits to add). Use that sum and add it to the North and to the West coordinates. The 2022 Cold Cache Crew theme is Town Names for Winter/Christmas Stories.
