Planting at Horsbere Brook
Parking: Suggested parking is in the car park at the provided coords, there is a footbridge to take you over to Horsbere. Or if there is space you can park by the gates leading in to the brook (published coords).
Where: Meet us on the mound (published coords).
What: We will be planting trees in the new woodland which we starting planting last year, we still have over 2500 to plant!
How: The Countryside Ranger will be there providing guidance and tools if necessary. Please ensure you log your will attend so that the ranger knows how much equipment to bring with her.
Health and Safety: The session and will be covered by council insurance as long as you are working under the Countryside Ranger's instruction. We are encouraging indivdiuals to work in their own groups and socially distance where possible. We ask you to bring your own gloves and where possible tools, so if you have a spade and a lump hammer will be fab.
Don't worry if you don't have them as the ranger will have a supply.
