This memorial is situated in an elevated position in the Cochrane Johnstone park at the foot of the Ochils. The memorial comprises a stone Celtic cross on oblong shaft, plinth and stepped base. Head of winged cherub, raised, in stone on front face of plinth with bronze sword of sacrifice planted on front of the column shaft.
