Along the Bregaglia Valley, near Cavril, you can see a small egg-shaped monument engraved with a helmet and a date: 1940. Perhaps it is a commemorative monument dedicated to the mobilization of 1940 for the garrison of the borders. but I couldn't find more information. However, it is a quiet place for a short stop on the benches just above where you can have a good view of the surrounding woods .... and our cache.

Percorrendo la Val Bregaglia, vicino alla località Cavril, si può notare un piccolo monumento a forma di uovo con inciso un elmetto e una data: 1940. Con tutta probabilità si tratta di un monumento commemorativo dedicato alla mobilitazione del 1940 per il presidio delle frontiere, ma non sono riuscito a trovare maggiori informazioni. E' comunque un posto tranquillo per una breve sosta sulle panchine poco sopra dove potete avere una buona visuale sui boschi circostanti ....e sulla nostra cache.
