This area has so much history. For now it's a hidden jem of a road to bypass the congestion on the highway and make your way to St. Point/Plover via the country back roads. The 2021 numbers engraved on the cement walls depict the year in which they made safety improvements. Smoky Road allows one to leave the fast paced life on the highway and enter county life. This is my 'go to' road when coming home.
What's fun about this cache is that many of the folks who grab this cache are from all over the country. They are traveling through or out for a Sunday drive.
Should be an easy park and grab. BYOP and you must sign the log in order for this to count. This cache was placed by a member of the WI Geocaching Association. Up the busy road is another cache by dochiro. We watched that round building go up for years and had to mark it.
