This is a busport. It's an unusual busport, because there are no buses to ride on.
Route 1 does have a bus stop there, but route 1 has a bus stop just about everywhere.
The point is that a busport is a central point that all buses converge upon. But where are the buses? You might see a couple parked and out of use, but apart from the route 1 stop that's it!
The other thing a busport needs is people. This busport is uniquely located about half way between the Geelong Railway Station, which is the terminus for just about every bus in the area, and the CBD, where the people are, and where most buses pass through, and most passenger traffic is located.
