Geocache Description:


Burned's Ugly Sister is on the Broadway Trail or also known as West Goldmine Trail/Lost Goldmine Trail. It's ready for a park and grab or dedicated hike on the south side of the Superstitions. Parking is located just off the trailhead and its free but limited. A leap away up the trail is a beautiful saguaro forest. If you choose to hike up the trail splits off with several options (there is a map at the trailhead), you could head east on Lost Goldmine trail, north up Jacobs Crosscut (this connects to Lost Dutchman State Park), and lastly northeast up through Monument Canyon or to Broadway Cave (yes there is a small cave atop of this trail). Make sure to bring lots of water and be aware the trail up until it splits with Monument Canyon Trail is quite rocky. There are alot of trail runners, bikers, and horseback riders.
