Javornik Belvedere is located on Veliki Brijuni nearby Vila Dubravka. At the end of the 19th century metal Belvederes were set up by Paul Kupelwieser on the highest points of the island.
Brijuni lookouts represent special examples of engineering architecture in Croatia. They where made in the ironworks in Vitkovice in today’s Czech Republic, where Kupelwieser worked before Brijuni.
The view from the lookout points are impressive up to this day, although a bith different as the lookouts have been overgrown by the forest. Through the forest there are paths that lead to Javornik Belvedere. When you climb up the belvedere, there is a bench where you can sit and relax.
