After not being able to hold this event last year because of COVID restrictions, we are pleased to ask you to join us once more to strip the decorated Christmas tree of its glory!
We will meet on Saturday January 8th 2020 by 6.15pm and we will wait until 6.20pm for any late-comers!
Please be on time for 6.15pm as it gets very cold hanging around at this time of the year....We will depart from the meeting point at 6.20pm prompt as we have to be at the Event location by the start time of the Event!!!
We shall gather at the entrance to the woods by the Car Park which should be locked.... Please don't be tempted to park here if not locked as you will more than likely have your car shut in overnight!!!
We will then make our way to the tree (following night tacks) and will be at the tree from 6.30pm until 7pm .... a lot depends on the weather!!!
You will need very warm clothing (hats, scarves, gloves and boots) and a head torch if possible as we will follow night tacks through the woods to the Xmas tree! All good fun for young and old alike!
It gets very, very muddy so please wear strong footwear.
Once at the tree we will strip off the decorations for another year and pack them away. Please bring any left over Xmas goodies to share around; choccies, mince pies etc!
We will do mulled wine only if there are sufficient Will Attend logs so we have some idea of numbers! This is usually a well attended event but you just never know.
Please log a Will Attend so that you will get any notifications about this Event. Times are so uncertain at the moment and it's the only way we have of keeping you all posted! Thanks!!
We do hope you can make it as this is a fun event and one eagerly awaited by many each year.
There will (in December) be the new, Christmas themed caches in and around these woods and we hope you will make time to find them all before (or after) the event!!!
