Western Trail is 1.28 miles with 573' of elevation change and rated extremely difficult with amazing views. If you returen to parking lot it will be just under 2 miles. Step carefully as you climb or decend.Beatiful 360 degree views from here and the scenic overlook nearby.
The cache location is pointing west on a steep portion of the trail and the rock shape resembles the Bow of a large ship. it sticks out into the trail at a 90 degree turn pointing west. Images show rock from uphill and downhill views.
