An aggressive climb is ahead of you if ascending. Soon after you leave here if climbing up or coming down you will actually be in The Scottsdale McDowell Sonoran Preserve for about 0.3 miles. As you approch GZ you will see a lonely Ocotillio 30 feet upslope with a large gathering of black rocks trailside. The views down hill are amazing, take time to enjoy.
