As we were driving through Plataniskia (also known as Platanisteia), on our way to nearby caches, we came across this beautiful viewpoint and were surprised that there is not already a cache in this location. We decided to place our second-ever hide here to encourage people to visit and enjoy the magnificent view from this partially-shaded spot.
Apparently, prior to 1974, this village was entirely inhabited by Turkish-Cypriots. The current inhabitants were re-located here from the Famagusta district.
Although we have yet to experience it, the village also hosts the Hambis Printmaking Museum
The cache is a film canister with a log; please bring your own pen.
