Enjoy a quick walk through the woods to the end of the trail to view what's left of the Pitt Street Bridge and the fishing/cruising boats. Following Hurricane Ian it's a bit of an obstacle course with several large tree branches down on the trail. You will see a sign 'Old Bridge Landing' at the woods entrance.
At one time the Pitt Street Bridge was the only means to get from Mount Pleasant to the beaches of Sullivan's Island and Isle of Palms.
Then backtrack to look for the cache which is a small round container, note the path down to the water is steep and may get muddy if it rains. Also check the tides - water may be present at high tide ))
