What better way to celebrate the 40th birthday of a fellow geocacher than to hold an event for them in their honour?
Penclawdd car park - 12:30pm to 1pm
Friday 3rd December
Although Chip's birthday is the excuse for this get-together, this is a geocaching event open to everyone. The more, the merrier!
The event itself is being held outside, beside the estuary at the edge of the free car park in the village of Penclawdd. You won't be able to miss us.
The location is right beside an enclosed children's play area. It is also suitable for dogs and for those of us with limited mobility. Various places serving food are nearby, including a chip shop. But there are no public toilets available at the car park itself.
If arriving by public transport, bus #116 is the service that runs from Swansea through the northern reaches of the Gower and stops in Penclawdd.
So, please bring yourself, your geocaching pals, your little ones, your four-legged friends, (your trackables that you can't get rid of anywhere else) and come and have a natter about geocaching with us.
And, as with all events, you don't have to stay the whole time to grab your smiley. You don't have to talk to anyone if you don't want to. Pop in, sign the logbook and go.
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask via the message center.
See you on Friday 3rd December!
