This is another in the VT 100 challenge series, extending from near the Mass border to near the Canadian border, along or near Route 100. All require you to have found 100 of something, plus some Vermont caching.
This time it is the "Recommended for Kids" attribute of which you need to have found 100 or more. You must also have found at least 25 caches of any type in Vermont. The VT caches can be with or without the required attribute.
Here is the checker to prove that you qualify.
Finds without qualification will be deleted without notice. This is meant to be a basic challenge that any geocacher can attain.
Kids' caches are part of caching, and are fun for adults and children. A good kids' cache should have some fun kid swag in it, and this is no exception. It is starting out with a log and some kids' toys. Please feel free to stock this with toys or other items children would like. If you bring your little ones, please explain the rule that you leave something as good as you take. It is a good rule, and kids of all ages should follow it! I would like this to have enough kid swag available so that kids will enjoy the trip, while the grown ups enjoy the caching experience with the child. It is located in a place we want children to become familiar with. It is perfectly okay to come without children, however. We all were children once.
This is a multi within a challenge. Stage one is outside and will give you the clue you need for Stage two. While Stage 1 is available 24/7, please respect daytime hours. It is really best to do both stages when the building is open.
Stage 2 is an ammo box, and is housed inside a public building, available only when the building is open. It is currently open at least four days a week (always closed Sunday and Monday), but check the website for times, as they may change seasonally.

The cache has room for travel bugs. If you have kids with you, supervise them when they open and close the ammo box and make sure they know the difference between toys and travel bugs.
Thanks to Lizzie and Linda for help with this placement. The website to find current open hours is here Be sure to ask about the history of this building if you don't know it.
(If you come by chance with a child, and you don't have anything to trade, take something anyway! Others will hopefully make up the difference.) Starting out with a new trackable of mine, setting a new mission. Also a second tb.
