Welcome to Funderburg Forest Preserve!
Parking waypoint is provided. You'll be able to walk a trail almost all the way up to this cache. Preserve closes at dusk. No night caching, please.
This forest preserve is a whopping 868 acres and boasts over 8 miles of hiking trails which connect you to the next door Severson Dells Forest Preserve as well as Howard Colman Preserve... both of which have a multitude of geocaches to find, including a 5 stage adventure lab AND bonus cache.
From parking, take the trail that goes to the right and into the woods. A short hike and an ammo can with a twist awaits you at this location. You're not done once you've found it, though... the fun is just beginning! Please use caution with the homemade puzzle game inside. Further instructions are included the ammo can and will help you complete the task at hand.
